Interactive - people can control it in some way; it might have buttons which let the user choose which page to look at next, it might have a music or video player which the user can skip or pause.
Multimedia - there is more that one type of media; there might be text, image, sound, video, animation, hyperlinks, games.
Basically if something is interactive multimedia then a user can control the variety of things on it.
Lots of websites fall into the category of multimedia.

CBeebies website is a fantastic example of a well built website which is very interactive and very multimedia!
However, there are other ways that you can make an interactive multimedia products, you can make one in PowerPoint, Flash, or build an app.
